Dragon Ball Z Quest
by Kurairyu

Overworld Design: Well, the overworld design was actually really good! ..but, I had a strange feeling that I had seen it all before.. Then I remembered that it's unchanged from the original 1st quest. Oh well.

Dungeon Design: Same as above. No changes to the dungeon.

Gameplay/Special Effects: No differences in gameplay, and the text is still all in caps.

Storyline: Sort've changed from the original Zelda, but only in that instead of collecting the Triforce pieces you are collecting Dragon Balls. (that sounds dirtier than it actually is)

Graphics: Ok, finally something changed! Link was changed to a Dragon Ball Z character, whose graphics I found to be pretty good, 'cept I think his hair still needs a little work. Also, the 'GUY' graphics were changed to another Dragon Ball Z character, and the weapon graphics were changed as well to fit the new theme (but I really don't like that staff, I would recommend changing it.) All in all, I was not too impressed with the new graphics, but I recognize the amount of time it must have taken to make them.

Sound/Music: This demo really shines in the music department: DBZ themed midis which get you pumped and ready for action! (again, dirtier sounding than it actually is)
The music fit each scene well, and was pleasing to the ear as well, but showed no amazing variation.

Overall: A good quest to download if you are a fan of the TV-show, or otherwise starving for a BS1st quest remake. The author could really boost the potential for this quest if he would work with the dungeons/overworld map with these graphics sets!
