Double Trouble

Overworld Design: Although the area in question is small in the demo (and, as I understand, will probably remain this small), the actual landscape of it is pretty well done. The signs add an amazing amount of coolness to this quest (you have to see them to believe them) but I would have rather had the author design a larger area of play than go for the special effects. I noticed no bugs on the Overworld areas.

Dungeon Design: The dungeon design I found to be very well executed: the monster balance felt good, and the layouts of the dungeons were fun and full of good puzzles. Although the third, fourth, and fifth dungeons were not present in this demo, the author provided a look into how the gameplay will unfold after visiting those dungeons by giving you the key items that you would have gotten there, to visit the other dungeons (otherwise innaccessible)

Gameplay/Special Effects: Wowee! The special effects in this custom quest were absolutely great! The multi-screen messages and signs added a lot of flair to this quest, proving the author has a good handle on how to work with the zquest engine.

Storyline: Accented, of course, by the special effects mentioned above, I found the storyline to be well thought out, only I'd like to see a bit more development in the story, as opposed to it merely being a prelude for the rest of the game.

Overall: This quest is a worthy download, offering a fun romp through an interesting (albeit small) quest. I recommend it to anybody who enjoys the BS zelda graphics set, and also to those who would like mind-bending dungeons and thought-requiring puzzles, as opposed to your standard monster fest.
