"Link had just defeated Ganon and Alkoz in his return to Hyrule. Ganon, upset because of losing to Link again, cast a curse over 6 ages: 3 eras of Hyrule, Italy, Medieval England, and 1970s America. He set guardians in each of those eras, giving them a small power over the curse. The Triforce plucked link from Hyrule, saying, Ganon has chosen to curse time. This was unwise, for if you defeat him, it will be your final battle. Go, save the ages and fight Ganon in your largest battle yet- the Battle of Time.
